Habitat pancake breakfast on Boca Grande

9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov.7, Fellowship Hall of Boca Grande United Methodist Church, 325 West 3rd Street, Boca Grande. Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Boca Grande United Methodist Church, and First Baptist Church of Boca Grande invite you to enjoy a breakfast with your neighbors and to hear about the inspiring ministry of Habitat for Humanity. Call 941-639-3162 with any questions. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted. Charlotte County Habitat will be building 11 homes in the Placida area as part of the 40 homes they will complete in fiscal year 2009-2010. Habitat staff, along with one of the homeowner (partner) families working toward owning their home, will speak on Habitat’s efforts in building affordable homes and rehabilitating existing homes affected by the foreclosure crisis.
