Dec. 12: Rain barrel workshop

FORT MYERS – Lee County Extension Educators will teach you how to set up a recycled 55-gallon plastic barrel to collect rain water from your roof. Use the water for your landscape plants, potted plants, vegetable and herb gardens and special plant collections. Workshop provides set-up instruction, maintenance, artistic possibilities and a reference booklet. Workshop begins at 9 a.m. at Eco-Living Center at Rutenberg Park, 6490 South Pointe Blvd., Fort Myers (off College Parkway and Cypress Lakes Drive near McGregor).
