Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives raided a Port Charlotte home Tuesday in the 4000 block of Conway Boulevard and arrested five people including Guy Douglas Owens, 18; Vickie Ewing Nelson, 44; Robert Raymond Ewing, 18; and 21-year-old Jason Andrew Pringle. Brittany N. Redden, 17, was also in the home when the raid took place. Detectives said they found a cultivated marijuana plant, cocaine, Darvocet, Vicodin, MS Contin, Xanax pills, and a crack pipe. Narcotics undercover detectives allegedly made two undercover crack cocaine buys with Owens Sep. 18. Pringle's arrest was for an undercover crack cocaine purchase Oct. 6. Owens was charged with two counts of sale and delivery of cocaine, three counts possession of cocaine, one count cultivation of marijuana and possession Darvocet. Pringle is charged with sale and delivery of and possession of crack cocaine. Ewing is charged with cultivation of marijuana and possession of cocaine and Darvocet. Nelson was charged with possession of cocaine, MS Contin, Vicodin and Paraphernalia. Redden, a juvenile, is charged with two felony counts of possession of cocaine and Xanax, and possession of marijuana. Pringle posted bond this morning and Redden was released to a parent. Owens, Nelson and Ewing remain in custody at the Charlotte County Jail. |
