Police round up 24 in drug sweep
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit arrested 24 people over the past five days, mostly drug dealers, in "Operation Clean Sweep."
Sheriff Bill Cameron said the operation was designed to arrest known drug dealers in Charlotte County and get them off our streets for a safer Christmas and New Year's holiday."
Operation Clean Sweep began Dec. 17 and concluded Monday. Five active warrants are still out on various drug charges.

Justin Anthony Ryan, 18, 20000 block of Ancuda Drive. Sale and delivery of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine.
