Gasparilla Gazette and Gasparilla Magazine Editor Terry O'Connor married Amy Smith Saturday at the Boca Grande Club beachfront.
A dozen family and friends attended the intimate sunset wedding, which was followed by a reception dinner at South Beach Bar & Grille Restaurant.
The bride, a Knoxville, Ill., native, is the daughter of Roger and the late Linda Smith. Her grandparents are Maxine and the late Henry "Hank" Smith and Emmett and Lois Heck.

Amy's sister, Joy Andros, was matron of honor. Joy attended the wedding with her husband, Joel Andros, her daughter, Asher, and step-daughter, Dylana.
The O'Connors live in Venice. The bride is an employee at HealthSouth. Receptions will be held later for members of the family and friends who could not attend.
