Wesley Rowe, 21 years of age, joined his grandfather, Jack, at the great fishing hole in the sky on Friday July 29.
Born Sept. 14, 1989, in Port Charlotte, Rowe was a life-long resident of Englewood who graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 2008.
He was a hard-working, fun-loving, polite young man who brightened everyone's day with his contagious smile.
Rowe was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who loved to ride any vehicle through the mud for fun. He usually had more than one job going at a time right from the young age of 10 when he and his brother started mowing lawns in the neighborhood.
He recently worked as a cook at the 3rd Street Cafe and PJ's SeaGrille in Boca Grande, and had his own tree trimming and lawn mowing service.
He was proud of his new pickup truck for which he worked so hard. Rowe had many friends and
admirers all over the world who truly adored him. He will be missed by all.
Wesley is survived by his parents Roger and Ruth (Stephenson) Rowe; brother, Michael Rowe; grandmother, Jane Stephenson; uncles, Jack Stephenson and Charles Rowe; aunts, Janet Stephenson, and Sharon Rothwell (Stephenson); and cousins, Charlie, Ashley and Christopher.
Family and friends are planning a tribute to Wesley, which will be announced at a later date.
