The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office will pay special attention today through Sunday to traffic enforcement for these violations:
SPEED - Placida Road from Rotonda Boulevard West to State Road 776 where 40 crashes involving 71 vehicles injuring 14 in 2010 causing $127,200 in damages and the length of Veterans Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
TRAFFIC LIGHT/STOP SIGN: State Road 776 and Beach Road in Englewood where 20 crashes involving 37 vehicles injured 11 in 2010 causing $77,275 in damages and U.S.41 and Harbor Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
