He made a traffic stop on SR 31 by Horseshoe Road and found many large pieces of machined mechanical parts, he said.

The Earth Source Mine pit is owned by Sid Kidson LLC & Partners. Williams said he saw the large metal items by the pit and put them in his pickup.

Williams said he is unemployed and was going to scrap the items to pay child support. Williams was jailed on a $3,000 bond he posted and was released.
