Business mixed well with bubbles as the 25th Boca Grande Art Alliance season opened with a commemorative series of art exhibitions in "Small Works" Nov. 17-20 at 236 Banyan St.
The Boca Grande Art Alliance celebrates its Silver Anniversary this season and plans to offer Champagne and cake at all its show-opeining receptions, said Pike Powers, first-year executive director.
"Small Works" was well-attended with a grand opening Nov. 16 followed by four days of Bca Grande displays, including oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, glass, sculptures and jewelry.

The Art Alliance offers creative art classes, exhibitions, lectures and special events open to the public but exhibitors are limited to members only.
Small Works is the first of eight art exhibits this season, including four annual season shows, a selected artist group show, Boca Grande Camera Club Show, a faculty-student artist exhibit and spring show.
