The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office arrested 15-year-old Stanley Eugene Overfield Jr., 9466 Tacoma Ave., Englewood East, on a charge of burglary - his 10th booking.
A witness reported a young man was looking in a home front window in the 100 block of Antilla Drive, Englewood East, around 7 p.m., then went around the home, entered the screened lanai and later exited.
Detective say Overfield was sweating, appeared to be nervous, and changed his story about being at the home on Antilla Drive. An arriving taxi cab told detectives Overfield had called for a ride.

The owner said nothing appeared to be missing and believes the burglar was scared off by two barking dogs inside.
Overfield was arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Once booked, he was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice center in Fort Myers. Detectives are continuing the investigation.
