Gasparilla Gazette

Former Boca Grande Duplicate Bridge Club champion Sandy Jacobs is at it again this year after being bumped form the top spot in 2011 by Chuck Hemm.

Jacobs collected hr second monthly Ace of Clubs masterpoints title of the season - a first for the BGDBC in its third season. No one had ever won two monthly BGDBC Ace of Clubs titles in one season before.

Jacobs doesn't have the season crown won yet. Defending champion Hemm is within striking distance in third place behind No. 2 Judy Kimmel, and No. 4 Pay Peyer is less than two points behind. The season closes after April play and reopens for a fourth year in November.
