Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives arrested an Englewood man Monday for allegedly burglarizing three vehicles near his home.
Andrew Darrell Neiding, 23, 2075 Georgia Ave., has been charged with three counts of burglary of a conveyance and three counts of petty theft.
A neighbor allegedly caught Neiding inside a van parked in the driveway after hearing a noise outside at 2:30 a.m. He grabbed his pellet gun and reportedly saw Neiding in th van with white socks on his hands and using a lighter for light.

The neighbor told Neiding to get on the ground and not move. When asked why he had socks on his hands Neiding reportedly said they were wet and he was drying them out. The neighbor found cash, a cell phone, wallet and a lighter and Neiding, who ran when he called police.
Detectives say they found Neiding at 2075 Georgia Ave. with several GPS units, sunglasses, a change bag and camera. The investigation continues.
Neiding was arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail where he remains on no bond.
