Detectives arrested Joseph Andre Berube, 22, of 273 Lakewood Lane in Port Charlotte Wednesday after a complaint filed by the girl's parents Sunday.
The parents took their daughter to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in North Port after reportedly learning she had been sexually involved with an adult male.
The girl told police she met the man she knew as "Joe" May 28 while he was operating an ice cream truck in her neighborhood. They met the following night at the North Port skate park and eventually went to "Joe's" residence in Charlotte County where they reportedly drank wine, used marijuana and had sex.

The girl met Berube again Friday where they had reportedly wine and had sex in a hot tub in Berube's bedroom.
Berube was arrested on charges of two counts lewd battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held without bond at the Charlotte County Jail.
