The Cape Coral Bridge Toll Plaza reconstruction will result in an overnight closure at the College Parkway Overpass at McGregor Boulevard Thursday and Friday.
Starting at 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, the College Parkway Overpass to the Cape Coral Toll Plaza will be closed for four hours until 1 a.m., Friday, Aug. 3, while crews set up barricades for a new traffic pattern. Motorists must use the McGregor Boulevard on-ramp to access the toll plaza. On Friday, Aug. 3, all westbound travel lanes shift to the north.
From Friday, Aug. 3 through Tuesday, Aug. 7, there will be one LeeWay/SunPass lane on the far right side of the toll plaza adjacent to the administration building (lane 1) and two cash/manned booths (lanes 2 and 3) that LeeWay/SunPass customers may use.
During this four-day period, LeeWay/SunPass customers should consider using the Midpoint Bridge. In the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 7, lane 4 will open for LeeWay/SunPass customers.
