Join the Mangrove Chapter of The Native Plant Society at 9 a.m. Aug. 23 for a fun and informational slow stroll on trails of Cedar Point Environmental Park, 2300 Placida Road, Englewood. The seaside gentian should be in bloom around Lemon Bay. Everyone is welcome. Wear shoes that can get wet, sun hat and lotion, bring insect repellent and drinking water.
