CCSO received four boat burglary reports Monday at the resort marina. Items stolen from three boats included eight fishing rods/reels; tackle box, cast net, landing net, filet knife, fish markers, and a trolling motor. Total value of all stolen items was $2,285. The fourth boat entered was the CCSO Marine Unit boat; however, nothing was stolen as all items well secured.
Detectives said Sharpe sold several items to a man on Annapolis Lane in Rotonda who did not know they were stolen. CCSO obtained a search warrant for Clinton's home and car and reportedly located numerous stolen items.
