The Ladies Day Tarpon Tournament is being shifted back to its traditional Mother's Day weekend dates after being placed a year ago on the same weekend with the World's Richest Tarpon Tournament and the Kids Classic Tarpon Tournament.
The May 25 Tarpon Fest will still accompany the World's Richest Tarpon Tournament May 23-24 although the Sunday schedule has been eliminated.

The Fall Festival is being pared down in part to relieve business owners of having Boca Grande roads blocked as has been the custom for a band stage and food booths.
"We'll have a Fall Fest of some sort, just not as we've had it in the past," Hastings said.
The Christmas Walk will take place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Hastings said, and the Halloween Walk will likely take place on Halloween night.
