The Charlotte County Sheriff's Traffic Safety Team's "Click it or Ticket" seatbelt campaign runs Nov. 12-15. If the seatbelt is not worn properly, tickets are being issued.
Also, CCSO will pay special attention to traffic enforcement at these locations from Nov. 5-11

The Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles reports Charlotte County has 15 vehicle deaths so far this year compared with 20 the same time last year. Fatalities for 2011 totaled 26.
