Eva E. Henderson, 103, of Englewood passed away Sunday, Nov. 11.
Born Oct. 12, 1909, in Pittsburgh to Nils and Anna Swanson, she graduated from Peabody High School in Pittsburgh and from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., with a bachelor's degree majoring in languages.
She married Keith Henderson in 1935 and was blessed with two children. Keith was supervisor of highways in Saybrook, Ohio, retiring to Florida in 1972. They were married 67 years until his death in 2002.

She is survived by her children, Barry Henderson of Bastrop, Texas, and Kathy Myers of Englewood; grandchildren, Matthew Henderson of Seattle and Nathan Henderson of Boston; and three great-grandchildren.
She was an early member of Faith Lutheran Church in Rotonda. Her interests included: her church, reading, gardening, crafts and making hand-made greeting cards.

A memorial service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in Rotonda at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov 16. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church.
