William Dunson, Gasparilla Gazette Nature Walk columnist, said he was reading the Gazette at dawn and happened to see this sunrise over Lemon Bay was he glanced out the back window.
"Isn't it amazing that we have all this amazing beauty in our area for free?" Dunson said. "No admission fees, no two-year contracts and no reservations. Why can't we enjoy more of such simple natural pleasures in life more often? That is my early New Year's resolution!"
