The iconic Port Boca Grande Museum and Lighthouse lighting once again beamed with holiday spirit Saturday as a throng of more than 300 people partied on the south end of the island.
What looked to be a nasty storm rolling in at the same time as the lighting suddenly dissipated without bogging down the celebration.
Museum Executive Director Sharon McKenzie and Jim Grant, Barrier Island Parks Society chairman, flicked the lights on at precisely 6:15 p.m. as scheduled.
