On Boca Grande it's not uncommon to see spoonbills and ibis peacefully feeding together.

The roseate spoonbills are much more rarely sighted than the ibis, which might account for the "big guy's" behavior when he shows up and will not have any part of sharing his territory. He proceeds to run all the other off - even his own kind.
