Boca Grande homeowner Pamela Stephens-Buckles reported more than $6,300 in cash and clothing, including four cashmere sweaters, were stolen from her home at 570 Fifth St. sometime after she arrived back on island Nov. 19.
She reportedly told Cpl. William Held of the Lee County Sheriff's Office she noticed the sweaters missing as she readied for a party Nov. 23.
Held listed the crime as felony grand theft less than $10,000 in his police report dated Dec. 10. The investigation continues.
